20 Years of Catalogue Design & Creative Support Contracted
For 20 years, I introduced and designed The Distributors Brisbane’s Bag-a-Bargain catalogues, creating a consistent platform for their product offers and retail promotions to generate sales and grow the company.
Alongside the catalogues, my work has extended to promotional flyers, conference point-of-sale materials, email promotions, itineraries, event invitations and conference photography.
This longstanding partnership brings together detailed catalogue production, promotional design and event communications, supporting the business across a broad range of creative requirements.
The Challenge
Present a large volume of products, pricing and promotional offers in
a way that is clear, engaging and easy for customers to navigate.
The catalogues require a balance between strong promotional impact and practical readability, giving individual products and supplier brands visibility while maintaining a cohesive publication.
Conference and event materials bring a different set of requirements, combining promotional messaging with clear information for attendees.
My Role
I provide graphic design, catalogue layout and finished artwork for the Bag-a-Bargain publications, translating product information and promotional briefs into clear, engaging materials.
I also design supplier advertisements featuring major brands such as Nestlé, Mars, Cadbury and Smith’s, working with supplier teams to meet individual brand requirements while maintaining a cohesive catalogue.
My role involves liaising with multiple suppliers to coordinate artwork, product imagery and promotional content, and working closely with printers on print-ready files and production requirements.
Beyond the catalogues, I create conference point-of-sale materials, itineraries and event invitations, alongside conference photography.
Supporting an Extension of the Business
My work also extended to Lollies, Parties, Anything, a former business extension of The Distributors Brisbane. I developed its branding and applied it across packaging, postcards, monthly promotions, seasonal campaigns, social media graphics, truck and car artwork, and branded uniforms.
For The Distributors Brisbane, I also created custom-branded water bottle artwork, extending their identity to another promotional format.
