Gigi – Circular Quay
After working with the client on their Portobello venue near the Sydney Opera House for more than ten years, I was invited to develop a new identity when the business relocated to another venue in the Circular Quay precinct.
The objective was to create a distinctive new hospitality brand that felt warm, personal and appropriate for its prominent Sydney location while retaining the trust and familiarity established through our longstanding working relationship.
The Challenge
Develop a completely new identity for an established hospitality operator transitioning from a well-known venue into a new location and business concept.
My Role
Creative direction, brand identity design and project coordination from initial concept through to final production.
What I Delivered
Logo suite, colour palette, typography, coffee cups, menus, signage, packaging, point-of-sale materials, social media assets and supporting venue collateral.
Collaboration
I worked directly with the business owners and coordinated with printers, signage suppliers and production partners to ensure the identity was applied accurately and consistently across the venue.
The Outcome
A cohesive and recognisable hospitality identity designed to work across customer touchpoints—from the storefront and interior environment to menus, takeaway packaging and digital communication.
